Commercial API Opportunities

As well as personal API usage, we are keen to support commercial usage of our API.

In summary, anyone who publishes Betfair prices or has customers of their own (such as a bookmaker) falls under our Commercial License. The License entitles you to publish Betfair prices on your service under certain conditions, and to use the Betfair API as part of increasing your profits from your business.

For Commercial users who are only accessing the API in order to read our data, the cost is dependent on the user’s annual gross profits (i.e. the more profitable you are as a company, the more our data has value and the higher the data access charge). Commission fees earned by betfair from transactions can result in reduced read-only costs:
